Research activities and questions
The scientific focus of the IMS is on the development of novel, superconductor-based quantum technological detector and sensor systems with highest time and energy resolution, whose performance is far beyond the limits of classical electronics. Our vision is to develop these innovative systems as a universal tool in the natural sciences, life sciences and industry, and thus contribute to solving current and future challenges in research and industry.
